In fulfilling this commitment, we recognise our duty to eliminate risks to health and safety so far as is reasonably practicable and, where elimination is not reasonably practicable, to minimise those risks through effective planning, consultation and control measures.

We will:

* Establish, implement, maintain and continually improve a Work Health and Safety Management System (WHSMS) aligned with the requirements of ISO 45001;

* Demonstrate strong and visible leadership and promote a workplace culture where health, safety and wellbeing are shared responsibilities;

* Identify workplace hazards, assess associated risks and implement effective controls to eliminate or minimise those risks so far as is reasonably practicable;

* Integrate health and safety risk management into our planning, decision-making, project delivery and day-to-day business activities;

* Provide employees and contractors with appropriate information, instruction, training, supervision and resources to enable work to be undertaken safely;

* Ensure plant, equipment, tools, chemicals and hazardous substances are selected, operated, maintained, stored and managed in a safe and responsible manner;

* Conduct appropriate workplace and site inspections to identify hazards, assess risks and verify that required controls are effectively implemented and maintained;

* Identify and manage physical and psychosocial hazards that may affect the health, safety and wellbeing of our people;

* Consult with employees, contractors and relevant stakeholders on matters that may affect their health and safety and encourage their participation in improving workplace safety;

* Report, investigate and appropriately manage workplace incidents, injuries, near misses, hazards and non-conformances and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence;

* Maintain appropriate emergency preparedness, response procedures, first aid arrangements and resources relevant to our workplaces and activities;

* Monitor and evaluate the health and safety performance of subcontractors, consultants and suppliers and implement appropriate controls to address identified risks or compliance issues;

* Consult, cooperate and coordinate with clients, contractors and other relevant duty holders where responsibilities for work health and safety are shared;

* Comply with applicable work health and safety legislation, regulations, codes of practice, contractual obligations and other relevant requirements;

* Maintain, review and continually improve our WHS Management System in response to changes in legislation, industry practices, technology, innovation and identified risks;

* Establish, monitor, review and communicate health and safety objectives and performance measures and take appropriate action to improve outcomes;

* Communicate this Work Health and Safety Policy and our WHS Management System to employees, contractors and relevant stakeholders;

* Ensure that employees and contractors understand their health and safety responsibilities and comply with applicable policies, procedures, safe work practices and control measures; and

* Monitor, audit and review our health and safety objectives, systems and performance to support the continual improvement of our WHS Management System and this policy.
